Make 6 dozen cookies (or candy or 6 loaves of holiday breads) , all the SAME recipe.
Package each dozen or loaf individually. You can use paper plates, gift bags, holiday tins or whatever you like.
On the day of the exchange you will get 6 dozen DIFFERENT cookies or treats. PLUS, you will get ALL of the recipes.
Let me know ASAP if you will participate this year. I need everyone's recipes no later than THURSDAY, DEC. 8.

My annual neighborhood garage sale is coming soon!
This is the one everyone's been waiting for!
Over 100 homes participate on Saturday alone, many with multiple sellers!
You'll find everything from antiques & collectibles to toys, clothes, appliances, bikes, tools & even vehicles! Food & drinks are also available for purchase thru-out the tract.
Parking will be scarce so you'll want to park outside the tract where allowed.
Shoppers come from all over, even from out-of-state.
Saturday is the best day & best time is 6 a.m. to noon.
Participating streets are: Auburndale, Chapel Hill, Dartmouth, Foxborough, Heatherow, Marylhurst, Revere, Rockford, Toledo, Westover & Williamsburg.

This will be , December 16 at 7 pm. It's not that far away so it's time to start thinking about a recipe to make. You will need to make 6 dozen cookies, all the same recipe. They need to be packaged in 6 one-dozen plates, tins, bags, etc. You will get 6 different dozen in exchange...plus ALL of the recipes!
I'll need your recipe by Dec. 9. The exchange only takes about an hour (or less) & I'll have refreshments to munch. Hope to see YOU this Year!

As always we will give out flags for July 4th. We hope you enjoy them & leave them in place throughout the holiday.
ANNUAL SUNWOOD GARAGE SALE 2014
This years' annual garage sale is July 26-27. Saturday is by far the best day. There are usually about 125 homes participating on Sat. alone, many with multiple sellers (invited friends & relatives). Non-resident sellers (except for invited friends & relatives) are NOT allowed. Sellers may NOT set up in the walk-way or other city property. The Health Dept. does NOT allow outside food vendors. Only food items prepared by residents in their own homes are allowed.
Parking is scarce so you'll want to arrive early & plan on walking. You may have to park outside the tract where allowed.
Many homeowners sell food & drink items for your convenience. There will be neighborhood maps in several spots in the tract. Bathrooms are NOT available. Official start time is 7:00 a.m., but some shoppers arrive earlier. Some sellers may not be set up earlier. Most sellers close up around 1:00 but a few stay open later.
